- Peter Iglio, 51, of Cobleskill, was arrested July 10 at 10:41 p.m. in Durham and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08% and driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket.
- Wilfrido Cajilema, 29, of Albany, was arrested July 11 at 10:36 p.m. in Catskill and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated/with child, a class E felony; endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor; and driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket.

- Burke Armstrong, 59, of Catskill, was arrested July 18 at 3:30 a.m. in Catskill and charged with first-degree operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket.
- Lindsey Palmateer, 40, of Athens, was arrested July 17 at 8:14 p.m. in Athens and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08% and driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket.
- Mitchum Lyons, 32, of Oneonta, was arrested July 17 at 9:17 p.m. in Tannersville and was charged with third-degree bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor. He was issued cash bail in the amount of $2,500.
- Carl Neal, 72, of Catskill, was arrested July 18 at 5 p.m. in Coxsackie and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was released to a third party.

- Edward Conti, 34, of Saratoga Springs, was arrested July 19 at 2:20 p.m. in Cairo and charged with third-degree bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor. He was released on his own recognizance.

- Moses Doctor, 60, of Cairo, was arrested July 21 at 10:20 p.m. in Cairo and charged with first-degree burglary with a dangerous instrument and first-degree robbery with a dangerous instrument, both class B felonies. He was held.
- Cody Voorhees, 28, of Prattsville, was arrested July 22 at 9:44 a.m. in Prattsville and charged with second-degree criminal trespass, criminal mischief/reckless property damage and fourth-degree criminal mischief/preventing an emergency call, all class A misdemeanors. He was released on his own recognizance.
- Joseph Reynolds, 44, of Cairo, was arrested July 23 at 12:28 a.m. in Cairo and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was released on his own recognizance.
- Hanlon Lowell, 23, of Wyckoff, New Jersey, was arrested July 24 at 12:06 a.m. in Hunter, and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08% and driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket.
- Gabrielle Perea, 35, of Lake Katrine, was arrested July 23 at 1:26 p.m. in Catskill and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotics and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/cocaine, all class D felonies; and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17, both class A misdemeanors. - Isaac Falcon, 41, of Lake Katrine, was arrested July 23 at 1:26 p.m. in Catskill and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotics and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/cocaine, all class D felonies; and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of criminal possession of cannabis, and one count of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17, all class A misdemeanors. - Devon Thomas, 25, of Coxsackie, was arrested July 26 at 9 a.m. in Coxsackie and charged with first-degree possession of dangerous contraband in a prison, a class D felony. He was held.
- Isiah Rose, 48, of Catskill, was arrested July 26 at 11:09 a.m. in Cairo and charged with third-degree criminal tampering and reckless endangerment of property, both class B misdemeanors. He was released on his own recognizance.
- An unidentified 17-year-old, of Catskill, was arrested July 27 at 2:43 p.m. in Catskill and charged with second-degree menacing/weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, both class A misdemeanors. The individual was issued an appearance ticket.
- Lisa Merwin, 45, of Hunter, was arrested July 27 at 11:50 p.m. in Hunter and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. She was issued an appearance ticket.

Obituary: Louis A. Pastina, Jr.

GREENVILLE – Louis A. “Louie” Pastina, Jr., 75, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, with his family at his side.
Louie was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on Oct. 2, 1947, a son of the late Louis A. and Anna Tartaglia Pastina.
He was a graduate of Central High School. Louie worked as the director of operations at Plainridge Racetrack in Plainville, Massachusetts. He enjoyed horse racing and wagering, and owned several horses. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Louie is survived by his wife, Kristine Nugent Pastina; children, Katelyn, Gianna, Louis III, and Amanda; his brothers, Dennis (Janice) and David (Kim); his in-laws, Ted (Hope) Nugent and Kathryn (John) Dingman; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins; and his beloved pets, Diego and Penny.
A memorial gathering and celebration of Louie’s life will take place on Saturday, March 11, from 1-4 p.m. at the Greenville Volunteer Fire Company.
