Capital Region Independent Media is holding its annual “Top 5” contest to identify the top changemakers in the communities we serve. We’ve asked you to help us select these outstanding individuals and businesses.

There are 5 winners in each of four categories that will be honored at this event. The categories are Women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People of Color), Youth (Ages 15-21), and Businesses. 

There are so many people, businesses, and organizations that contribute to our region. We want to recognize and honor those who drive change in their communities and make them better places to live.

Winners will be honored at THE TOP 5IVE Awards Event, a formal awards ceremony with dinner, cash bar, and live music by Bronte Roman.

The event will take place on Friday, April 26th, from 6-9 p.m. at The Wire Event Center in Coxsackie, NY.

Dinner will be a buffet prepared on-site by Firehouse Café & Bistro of Adams, MA.

Formal attire is requested. Dress code is not enforced.
