Marjorie F. (Barden) Boyles (1936 – 2023)
HUDSON—Marjorie F. Boyles, 96, of Ghent passed peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Columbia Memorial Health.
She was born September 23, 1926 in Spencertown to George and Mary (Schraeder) Barden.
She was the youngest of eight children and her mother died when she was only five-months-old. Her stepmother, Lucy entered her life shortly thereafter and raised her and her siblings as if they were her own.
She often talked fondly of her upbringing in Spencertown and her home was a hub for all of the local children. (more…)
