PHILMONT—Jon B. Puckett, 70, of Philmont passed away unexpectedly at his home, January 26, 2025.
He was born and raised in Hudson and lived and worked locally all of his life. He was an avid collector of sports cards and sports memorabilia. He loved to fish and was a lifelong NY Jets fan, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Puckett and Evelyn R. (Kirschman) Puckett; his siblings, Bruce D. Puckett, James “Scott” Puckett and Anne F. Camadine, as well as two nieces, Rhoda S. Puckett and Shannon E. Puckett.
He leaves behind: his siblings, Michael L. (Joanne) Puckett of Hanover, NH, Russell A. (Susan) Puckett of Claverack, Stephen T. Puckett of Claverack, Mary E. Rain of Rochester, and Elizabeth A. Puckett of Greenport; many nieces and nephews, who he absolutely adored. They were each the apple of his eye and he made sure they knew it.
