RENSSELAER—Carolyn Ann Bush, 83, of Rensselaer passed into the arms of her Savior, February 1, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Bush is survived by: her son, Daniel (Iliana) Rockefeller; three grandchildren, Isaiah Rockefeller, Jonathan Santiago and Juliana Conception; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by: her husband, George E. Bush; her parents, Ray and Ruth Mahar; two sisters, Madeline Oravec and Virginia Zyryi, and five brothers, Gerald Lucia, Kenneth Mahar, Terrance Mahar, Ray Mahar, Jr. and Larry Mahar.
She grew up in Stottville and spend most of her years living in her small neighborhood. In recent years she loved spending time with her family and spending time in nature. She spent many hours tending to her amazing flower garden.
Funeral services were held February 8, 2025 at the Calvary Assembly of God, 2813 Atlantic Avenue, Stottville, with interment immediately following in West Ghent Cemetery. A reception followed at the church. Arrangements were with the Bates and Anderson Funeral Home, Hudson.
