HUDSON—Georgia E. “Dolly” Daniell died February 9, 2025. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1953. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and was one of Jehovah’s witnesses.
She will be missed by everyone blessed to know her, especially her family, including: her sons, Sean, Tyrone, William and Todd Daniell, along with their children. She leaves her sister, Ayn Carr and brother, James “Dan” Carr. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary and Martha and her brothers, David, Austin Joseph and Thomas.
She was a proud member of the community with a soft smile welcoming all into her home. She was a wonderful nurse and teacher’s aide who participated in many community service activities such as the local food pantry and the Columbia County Youth Program. She was a kindhearted individual who made an everlasting impression on everyone she met. Visiting hour and memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Sacco Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport.
