The Columbia County Community Martin Luther King, Jr. Day observance took place at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 14 Warren Street, on Sunday, January 19. In the audience where Assemblymember Didi Barrett (D-106th), state Senator Michelle Hinchey (D-41th), county Undersheriff Jackie Salvatore and other local representatives and community members. This year’s guest speaker was Pastor Paulette Adams of the Payne African Methodist Episcopal Church in Chatham who delivered the address “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence 365.”
