HUDSON – The Hudson City School District welcomes Amanda Klopott as the newest associate principal at Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School. She joins the leadership team with Associate Principal Ian MacCormack and Principal Mark Brenneman.

Ms. Klopott comes to Hudson from North Colonie CSD where she helped create a mentoring program to support English as a New Language (ENL) students. She also provided professional development on differentiation and worked with staff to create a culturally inclusive school environment.

“I was first drawn to Hudson because of the diverse student population,” said Ms. Klopott in a press release. “It was important to me that I joined a school that was a good fit where I could use my unique skill set.”
