GERMANTOWN—The Germantown Garden Club will visit the Greene Bee Greenhouse, a nursery and budding arboretum, in Cornwallville, Tuesday, July 11. The tour includes an opportunity to explore the extensive woody plants collection and established gardens on the surrounding grounds. Participants can see firsthand what the nursery’s offerings look like when planted in the landscape. Greene Bee only cultivates and sells plants that coexist peacefully with the indigenous species of the region (both native and non-native) and strive to showcase a broad and unique variety.
Brianna and Eli, owners of Greene Bee Greenhouse, have a combined 50 years of experience in horticulture. They are avid gardeners and plant collectors.
