The Columbia Land Conservancy (CLC) hosted an archery workshop at the New Lebanon Junior-Senior High School on Friday, February 21. Students were out for winter break, but the school’s archery coach allowed participants to use the team’s bows and targets. The CLC is known for its programs that get people out in the meadows and woodlands of Columbia County. “This is something different for us to do.” Said CLC President Troy Weldy who is also a Hunter Education Safety Instructor. In a Land Conservancy press release he advertises a hunter education training to be held in late April or early May with details forthcoming.
