GREENPORT – Columbia-Greene Community College will tentatively hold in-person commencement ceremonies for 2020 graduates, Saturday, November 28 at 10 a.m.
In a press release, President Carlee Drummer, Ph.D. explained that the decision was made after prospective graduates were surveyed to gauge their preferences for a ceremony.
“The overwhelming response was that our graduates preferred an in-person ceremony, even if postponed,” Dr. Drummer said in the release. All plans will remain tentative as the directives related to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis continue to evolve.
Any student who expects to fulfill graduation requirements by the close of the Spring 2020 semester is asked to file the application for graduation with the Office of Records and Registration as soon as possible, by emailing the completed form to registration@sunycgcc.edu.
