HUDSON–City Police responded to the former Furgary Boat Club on North Dock Street at the request of the Mayor’s Office and cleared the property of trespassers, July 16 at 3 a.m.
Three subjects were escorted off of the property after they complied with orders to exit three different buildings. They were detained and released without charges.
The Police Department Special Operations Unit with assistance from patrols was called in after police got reports that one of the subjects was armed and made threats that he would kill the police if they came to remove him. All persons immediately complied with the request over the police public address system to exit the buildings or be arrested for trespassing on city property.

*City Police are investigating a number of larcenies from vehicles parked on various streets around the city, according to a police bulletin dated July 17. Police remind residents and visitors to secure valuables in their homes and lock their cars. Items stolen include a GPS navigation systems, loose change and cash, a laptop, cordless drill and an iPod.

*Marcus Eugene Mitchell, 29, of Hudson was charged on an arrest warrant with third degree assault (with intent to cause physical injury) by Detective David Miller, Jr., at 237 Robinson Street, March 25 at 10:59 p.m.
The charge stems from an incident in which he allegedly attacked a 19-year-old woman inflicting physical injury that required medical treatment. Mr. Mitchell was arraigned before City Judge John Connor and was sent to jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
