HUDSON–City Police charged two Hudson teens in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl last October.
Jamikel P.J. Yarbrough and Kasean Hibbert, both 18, were each charged with first degree rape and and endangering the welfare of child by Officer Jason C. Finn at 3353 State Route 9, May 31 at 1:20 p.m.
In April, police began an investigation into a report about a 14-year-old Greene County girl being sexually assaulted.
The investigation revealed that two suspects, Mr. Yarborough and Mr. Hibbert were allegedly involved, both were 17-years-old at the time of the assault.
The two teens allegedly had sexual intercourse in October with the girl, who was intoxicated and incoherent at the time of the assault.
Further investigation revealed there were possibly other such incidents outside the city, of which the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Livingston was notified.
Mr. Yarborough and Mr. Hibbert were both arraigned in Hudson City Court before Judge Richard Koweek and sent to the county jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond each.

*Stephvon N. Moore, 25, of Hudson was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief (intent to damage property) and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child by Police Officer James P. Nero, May 20 at 12:03 a.m.
Mr. Moore was involved in a dispute that began in a residence outside the city. The 22-year-old woman, who was also involved in the dispute, left the out-of-town residence and went to a Washington Street residence, where Mr. Moore later arrived.
He allegedly broke a window to gain entry into the place during a verbal argument. Three children, all under the age of 17, were present at the time. Arraigned before City Judge Richard Koweek, Mr. Moore was released.
*Mohammed Samsul Alam, 43, of Hudson was charged with two counts of endangering welfare of a child and third degree attempted assault by Officer Nicolas Pierro, April 3 at 11:53 a.m.
Mr. Alam allegedly struck a woman several times with his hands and feet, causing bruises to her face at 931 Columbia Street. He allegedly committed the acts in front of two children less than 17 years of age. He was held for arraignment.
*Bryan S. Smith, 23, of Hudson was charged with second and third degree burglary and petit larceny by Officer Nicolas Pierro, May 17 at 10:19 a.m.
Mr. Smith allegedly broke into the Sip and Suds Laundromat and stole cash. He was also identified as the person who allegedly broke into an adjacent apartment, where he was spotted by a concerned citizen and scared away. Mr. Smith was arrested at 543 State Street, near the scene.
He was arraigned and held without bail.
*Patrick L. Buchanan, 31, of Hudson was charged with third degree grand larceny (value greater than $3,000) by Police Officer Nicolas Pierro, May 19 at 8:12 a.m.
Following an investigation by city police working with US Postal Inspectors in Newburgh, Mr. Buchanan was charged because he allegedly stole a check from a post office box and cashed it. He turned himself in at the police station. He was arraigned before City Judge Koweek and released.
*David N. DiBlasi, 42, of Hudson was charged with disorderly conduct and fourth degree attempted criminal mischief by Officer Nicolas Pierro at 738 Warren Street, May 25 at 8:34 p.m.
Police were called to check out a report about “a man acting violent with his shirt off and acting aggressive towards others.” Mr. DiBlasi allegedly picked up a green US Postal Service mailbox and knocked it over. He allegedly acted aggressively towards officers, who “talked [him] down,” took him into custody and later released him with court appearance tickets.
*Stanislaw Z. Bogucki, 44, of Hudson was charged with third and fourth degree criminal mischief by Officer Shane Bower at 20 Columbia Street, May 11 at 9:08 p.m.
Mr. Bogucki allegedly used a baseball bat to break the windows out of Sam’s Market and then allegedly damaged Hudson Police Car #2 by driving his motorized wheelchair into it when police arrived to investigate the 911 call about the smashed windows. He was issued appearance tickets.
*Mark Lynch, 47, of Hudson was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief by Officer Nicolas Pierro, May 16 at 10:34 a.m.
Mr. Lynch allegedly kicked in the door at 234 Warren Street, causing it to break and no longer lock. He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Hudson City Court.
*Kevron T. Lee, 18, of Hudson was charged with third degree menacing on a Hudson City Court arrest warrant by Officer Brent Rowe at 427 Warren Street, May 12 at 8:30 a.m.
Mr. Lee allegedly “got up in the victims face” threatening to slap him, which caused the victim to fear for his personal safety during a May 5 incident at 215 Harry Howard Avenue. He was arraigned before Judge Koweek and released.
*A 14-year-old boy from Greenport, not identified by police, was issued a juvenile appearance ticket for third degree attempted assault by Officer Mishanda Franklin at 427 Warren Street, May 10 at 10 a.m.
During a May 9 in-school incident at 215 Harry Howard Avenue, the boy allegedly struck another student, age 13, from Greenport in the face several times causing pain and swelling. The juvenile suspect is to appear at Columbia County Probation.
*Alexis M. Bouchard, 21, of Hudson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession hypodermic instrument by Officer Shane C. Bower at 101 Warren Street, May 4 at 12:16 p.m.
Ms. Bouchard was allegedly found to be in possession of a crack pipe with crack cocaine and also a hypodermic needle after being interviewed following a suspicious person complaint. She had no ID and claimed she was staying at Bliss Towers and was originally from Vermont, police said.
Arraigned before Judge Koweek, she was jailed in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 bond.
*Frazier W. Townsend, Jr., 25, of Hudson was charged with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a .08% blood alcohol content by Officer Kevin Sweet during a traffic stop on South Third Street, April 2 at 12:30 a.m.
Mr. Townsend was issued three tickets returnable in Hudson City Court.
