The Chatham Panthers varsity baseball team scrimmaged on a chilly Saturday afternoon, March 29,a double header with Voorheesville and Union Springs. Their regular season starts on Monday, April 7 with a game against Coxsackie-Athens. The Panthers were state champions in their class in 2022, 2023, and 2024. This year they are moved up from Class C to Class B so their competition will be possibly tougher. Assistant Coach Kyle Wilber says the team takes it a day at a time. “We don’t make predictions about the season. These guys work hard every day.”
