RAVENA — A Ravena man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said in a statement Wednesday.

Shadoe Warren, 31, of Ravena, was arrested May 3 at around 11:55 a.m. after deputies stopped the vehicle he was driving, a white Subaru Legacy, on Jefferson Avenue in the village.

The vehicle was stopped due to an expired New York state inspection sticker, Apple said.

“Further investigation revealed Warren to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine,” Apple said in a statement.

Warren was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor, and undisclosed traffic infractions.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will next appear in Coeymans Town Court.
