Wrestlers hit the mat in two tournaments

RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — It was a busy weekend for RCS wrestlers.

Indians wrestlers competed in two tournaments this weekend — the Bethlehem Round Robin and the LaSalle Ladies Round Robin.

RCS athletes shined in both tournaments.

In Bethlehem, Kaden Potter came in second place at 170 pounds. Aiden Forester, Nick Moyer and Jayden Acomb also came in third place in their respective divisions.

Girls’ wrestling is also taking off this season at RCS. Five RCS wrestlers competed in the LaSalle Ladies Round Robin.

Alivia Ortiz took first place at 152 pounds. Ortiz was also named Wrestler of the Week in Section 2.
