Two wrestlers take 2nd place in Schenectady Invitational

RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — Two RCS wrestlers took second place and one placed fourth in the Schenectady Invitational on Jan. 14.

Franky Broadhurst won second place in the 126-pound weight class and Kaden Potter took second in the 145-pound division.

Jayden Acomb took fourth place in the 110-pound category, while Antonio Piscitelli came in sixth in the 160-pound weight class.

The Indians were eighth in the invitational, scoring 82 points. Saratoga Springs was the top scoring team at 212, followed by Shenendehowa with 165 and Colonie with 123.

The day was extra special for Head Coach Justin Schipano, who celebrated his birthday with his team at the tournament.
