RCS wrestlers compete against Salem-Cambridge

RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — The Indians headed to Salem-Cambridge for a meet on Friday.

Salem-Cambridge came out on top 51-21, but several Indians had victories.

RCS’s Jayden Acomb pinned Oliver Hickland in 4:35 in the 124-pound division; Kaden Potter pinned David Gilles in 2:51 in the 160-pound division; and Ethan Green pinned Collin Morrison in 1:06 in the 190-pound division.

The Indians’ Nick Moyer defeated Cooper Saddlemire in a 6-4 decision in the 170-pound division.

The JV team also saw a win when Kellen Houghtaling pinned Salem-Cambridge’s Caleb Guerin in 5:05 in the 170-pound division.
