RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — It may be hard to believe, but it’s already time for students to register for the fall 2024 sports season at RCS.
The district’s Athletics Department has announced fall sports registration for Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity athletes. Registration dates are as follows. Check out the district’s website at www.rcscsd.org for more information.
Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity Fall Sports Registrations:
- Began on Friday, July 22, and will run through Friday, Aug. 30.
- Open to students in grades 9 through 12.
Modified Fall Sports Registration:
- Began Friday, July 29, and will run through Friday, Sept. 13.
- Open to students in grades 7 and 8.
The following sports will be available this fall season:
- Boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country
- Varsity and junior varsity cheer
- Girls’ varsity soccer
- Junior varsity girls’ soccer
- Boys’ varsity soccer
- Junior varsity boys’ soccer
- Girls’ tennis
- Golf
- Varsity volleyball
- Junior varsity girls’ volleyball
- Varsity football
- Junior varsity football
- Girls’ swimming and diving
- Modified football
- Modified boys’ soccer
- Modified girls’ soccer
- Modified cross country
- Modified volleyball
Not all details, such as coaches, first practice dates, etc., are available yet, but most sports begin their first practice of the season on Aug. 19 or later.
