RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — The Ravens easily picked up their fifth win of the season on the gridiron Friday night, defeating the Cohoes Tigers 34-7.
The win came on the road with the Ravens traveling to Cohoes.
The Ravens started out strong, scoring 13 points in the first quarter, and then followed that up with two more touchdowns in the second quarter before heading into the locker room at halftime with a 27-0 lead.
The team came out strong in the second half, adding another touchdown in the third quarter, their final score of the game.
The Tigers avoided a shutout with a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The final score was 34-7, mirroring the Ravens’ 34-7 win the previous week against Lansingburgh, also played on the road.
The Ravens have a 4-0 Colonial Council record so far this season and an overall 5-2 record.
The team will face off at home on Oct. 25 against Green Tech for the final game of the regular season. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
