RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — The Ravens became the Reinfurt Division champions on Friday with a huge win over the Green Tech Eagles by a score of 50-6.
It was never even close. The Ravens, playing on their home turf, came out of the gate swinging, scoring 9 points in the first quarter.
The team followed that up with three touchdowns in the second quarter to add 21 points to their tally.
The Eagles scored their 6 points in the second stanza and would remain scoreless the rest of the game.
After heading into the locker room at halftime with a dominant 30-6 lead, the Ravens would head back onto the field for the second half to deal with unfinished business.
The home team scored another touchdown in the third quarter and 13 points in the fourth, for a final score of 50-6.
The win brought the Ravens’ record to 6-2 for the season and handed them the Reinfurt Division championship.
