I had promised to write a monthly article about my weight loss journey, but I got really busy in April and missed it. Today, I have some bad news, good news and some slightly scary news to share.

The bad news: I still haven’t met Al Roker yet, (see my previous article at https://theupstater.com/greenville-pioneer/my-view-my-weight-loss-journey-a-path-of-determination-and-transformation/) but he has been a huge inspiration for me in this journey.

The good news: My operation is scheduled for May 15.

The slightly scary news: My operation is scheduled for May 15.

It’s a mix of emotions, but I believe it’s the right step for me.

Lately, many people have been suggesting weight-loss pills and drugs for me to try before the operation. While these may work for some, I have decided to stick to my plan. I’ve heard that these options can be expensive and hard to find, so I prefer to focus on what I believe is best for me.

I want to share my journey with everyone in hopes of inspiring others to make positive changes in their lives.

The decision to undergo surgery was not made lightly, but I believe it’s the right choice to kickstart my weight loss journey.

Throughout this process, I’ve learned that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss. What works for one person may not work for another. It’s important to listen to your body, set realistic goals, and stay committed to making positive changes.

I’m excited for the future and eager to see where this journey takes me. I hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire others to take charge of their health and make positive changes in their lives.

After my operation, I will continue to update you on my progress. If you have any questions or just want to connect, feel free to email me at wdewsjr@gmail.com or call me at 413-212-0130.

Thank you for your support.
