RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — The girls’ varsity soccer team stands at an 8-2 record on the season after a big win on the road Friday night.

The Ravens shut out Lansingburgh 7-0 in an away match.

After getting off to a six-game winning streak to kick off the season, the Ravens lost their first game to Schalmont 6-1 before winning their seventh game against Ichabod Crane on the road by a score of 6-0.

The team then split a pair of games early in the week, holding Ichabod Crane scoreless at 6-0 on Monday before falling to Mohonasen 5-1 on Wednesday before the big shutout victory against Lansingburgh.

The Ravens have a busy week this week. They are scheduled to play Chatham at home Monday before heading on the road Tuesday against Schalmont and then back home to face off against Voorheesville on Thursday. Results were too late for publication.
