- Sashiko-Style Mending Workshop
Thursday, March 27, from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
This two-day workshop will introduce you to sashiko — a Japanese form of decorative stitching used to reinforce or mend clothing. Session 2: Visible Mending. Learn to visibly mend tears in favorite jeans or other clothing using the Japanese sashiko stitches taught in workshop #1. All supplies will be provided. Optional: Bring a piece of your own to repair. Registration for this two-session workshop is required at rcscommunitylibrary.org. For ages 11 and up.
