Employer charged with putting ‘disguised’ camera under worker’s desk

SELKIRK — A Wynantskill man has been charged with unlawful surveillance after police allege he put a “disguised” camera under the desk of a female employee.

Christopher Salisbury, 55, was arrested Aug. 7 by Bethlehem Police.

Salisbury is accused of putting the camera under the worker’s desk at his business in Selkirk. The woman’s name has not been released.

Salisbury was charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony.

He was charged and arraigned, and then released on his own recognizance.
