Boys’ hoops picks up third win of season

RAVENA-COEYMANS-SELKIRK — The RCS Indians boys’ basketball team picked up its third win of the season Wednesday.

The team defeated the Cohoes Tigers by a score of 40-20 on their home court.

The Indians’ Rilley Kellam led all scorers with 11 points, including a trio of three-pointers.

Joseph Touzin and Jack McFerran scored 6 points each in the game, with Nick Gibney and Eddie Reville picking up 5 points apiece, Wyatt Algozzine had 3, and Jack Reif and Michael McMullen scored 2 points each. Reville, Burns and Algozzine each had one three-pointer in the matchup.

Marquay Tanksley led the Tigers in scoring with 9 points.

The victory gave the Indians their third win of the season, bringing their overall record to 3-6 and 3-4 in Colonial Council play.

The team will next play an away game against Lansingburgh on Friday at 6:30 p.m. before returning to their home court Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to compete against Catholic Central.
