LEE, Mass.–John S. Kengla, 46, formerly of Hudson, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Laurel Lake Center after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease.
Born September 8, 1963 in Hudson, he was the son of Rev. Robert S. Kengla and Gladys (Urrutia) Kengla.
He was a salesman for the Goldstein Dealership in East Greenbush.
Mr. Kengla enjoyed putting car and army models together.
He is survived by two sisters, Suzanne Muller of Hudson and Karen Czaplinski of Lee; two brothers, Paul Kengla of Lee and Peter Kengla of Cary, N.C.; one niece, Jen Czaplinski of East Greenbush; four nephews, Carlos, Sean, and Jared Kengla of N.C. and Robert Bartholomew of Hudson; and several cousins.
His sister, Carolyn Almstead, died previously.
A gathering will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.
Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Stockport.
