ALBANY–Clyde W. Moore, 88, of Claverack, died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Albany Medical Center. 

Born January 21, 1921 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Claude and Ruth (Spoor) Moore.

Mr. Moore was employed by the Town of Claverack and also owned and operated a dairy farm with his father.

He was a life member of the West Ghent Fire Company and its treasurer for over 25 years, and a member of the West Ghent Reformed Church.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Fleming of Oakland, N.J.; two grandsons and their wives, Mark and Whitney Fleming of Pittsburgh, Penn., and Seth and Nicole Fleming of Carmel, Ind.; his grand-daughter, Sara Fleming of Oakland, N.J.; five great-grandchildren; his niece, Carol Snyder of Ghent; his nephew, Donald Gardner of Crossville, Tenn., and five grandnieces and one grandnephew.

His beloved wife, Florence Jane Fleming Moore, and his sister, Marion Gardner, died previously.

Visiting hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson.
