HUDSON–Mary M. Grube, 89, of Philmont, died Sunday October 4, 2009 in Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 21, 1919 in Yonkers, the daughter of John and Mary (O’Brien) McKinney.
Mrs. Grube worked in the family business, Grube’s General Store in Copake Falls from 1942 to 1972 and later retired from the Wassaic State School in 1983.
Her husband, William C. Grube, died in1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Graves of Millerton; and two sons, Robert H. Grube of Philmont and William J. Grube of Athens, Greene County. Additionally, she is survived by three grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday October 8, at 11 a.m. from St. Bridget’s R.C. Church/Parish of Our Lady of Hope, 8074 State Route 22, Copake Falls.
Calling hours and burial will be private.
