ALBANY–Dominick J. Crispino of Stockport and lifelong area resident died Thursday September 17, at Albany Memorial Hospital. He was 78.
Born in Stockport on September 4, 1931 he was the son of the late Domenico and Rose (Gabriel) Crispino.
Mr. Crispino served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-54. He was a manufacturing engineer for I.B.M. Kingston and retired after 35 years. He was then employed with the Columbia County Dept. of Social Services for five years.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, formerly Nativity/St. Marys in Stuyvesant Falls, a member of the Stockport Fire Co., Stuyvesant Falls V.F.W. and the Columbia County Sons and Daughters of Italy in Hudson.
He is survived by his loving wife Roseann L. (Piccola) Crispino, at home; two sons, James Crispino of Cohoes (Albany County) and Mark Crispino of Stockport; one daughter Diana(and Dan) Futia of Stockport; sisters Mary Connors, Alice Simone, Dolly Yaroschuck, Silvia Greene and RoseMarie Newland; grandchildren Michael and Ashley Crispino, Allison and Brittany Futia; sister-in-law Betty Gardner; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday afternoon from 3 to 7 p.m. at Valenti and Richards Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at St. Joseph’s Church in Stuyvesant Falls.
