HUDSON–Christine Bower, 60, of Hudson died May 11, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 17, 1949 in New York City the daughter of the late Clifford and Delores (Roca) Coons.
Mrs. Bower had been a patient at Whittier Skilled Nursing of Ghent for the past six years.
She had attended the COARC workshop in Mellenville until illness forced her to retire. She had also worked in area nursing homes as a nurse’s aide many years ago.
Survivors include her sister, Claudia Acer of Livingston, a nephew, Paul Acer of Ellenville, and her former husband, David Bower of Hudson.
Calling will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown. Services will be at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Theodore Gerken officiating.
Burial will be in the Chatham Rural Cemetery.
