William A. Warren (1923 – 2015)
CHATHAM—William A. Warren, 92, of Chatham died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his home.
Born January 17, 1923 in Sand Lake, he was the son of the late Hugh A. and Clara (Leffler) Turner.
Mr. Warren was a proud veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Army in the Rangers 5th Battalion and landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was a former member of the Kinderhook Elks Lodge #2530, the World War II Ranger Association and the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by: his wife of 68 years, Doris Warren of Chatham; four daughters, Barbara (Tim) Cahill of Kinderhook, Linda (Les) Everett of Ghent, Joan (Charlie) March of Chatham and Terry (Al) Van Patten of Florida; a sister, Sally (Herb) Backus of Johnsonville; seven grandchildren, Lisa Thompson of Missouri, Deborah Custer of Chatham, Peter Everett of Stockport, Karen Cahill-Molitor of New Jersey, Kimberly Powell of West Lebanon, Jeffrey March of Niverville and Melissa VanPatten of Florida; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Haverlick; four brothers, Joseph Warren, John Warren, Albert Warren, and Charles Warren and a granddaughter, Beth Cahill.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 2, noon at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie, with the Reverend James Slater officiating. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Kinderhook Cemetery. Ralph D. Fuss (1957 – 2015)
GREAT BARRINGTON, MA—Ralph “Petey” D. Fuss passed away October 23, 2015 at the Great Barrington Rehabilitation Center after battling a long illness.
He was born August, 5, 1957 and lived in Ghent.
He was predeceased by his father, Ralph, Sr., and mother, Nancy.
He is survived by: his sister, Carol (Mark) Usyk; brother, Craig Fuss; niece, Trisha (Christopher) Bradley and nephews, Justin and Zachary Usyk.
Mr. Fuss loved music; growing flowers; the family cat, Otis and his Chevy truck.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham.

Antoinette Sartori (1938 – 2015)
RHINEBECK—Antoinette Sartori, age 77, of Rhinebeck died Friday, October 16, 2015 at Ferncliff Nursing Home.
She was born July 29, 1938 in Athens, the daughter of the late Louis and Frances (Petramale) Esposito.
She volunteered for many programs, events at local schools and at St. Mary’s Church in Hudson.
She is survived by: her son, Antonio (Caitlyn) Sartori; two grandchildren, Evan and Cecelia; her brother, Louis F. Esposito; two nieces, Shelly Steenburn and Jacqueline Esposito; two nephews, Dean Esposito and Louis Esposito; many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held Friday, October 30 at St. Mary’s Church in Hudson.

Helen J. Hoysradt (1920 – 2015)
SHARON, CT—Helen J. Hoysradt, 95, of Ancram passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Sharon Health Care Center.
She was born February 23, 1920 in Florida, NY, the daughter of Harold and Beatrice (Baker) Jessup.
After graduating from high school she attended Pratt Institute where she studied fashion design.
In 1940 she married the late Henry “Pat” R. Hoysradt. He predeceased her August 13, 2015.
After their marriage they began their lives together as a farm family and operated the farm until their retirement.
A talented seamstress, she made both her daughters’ wedding dresses, Halloween costumes for grandchildren, slipcovers, curtains and most of her wardrobe. She was an excellent cook and gardener. She was famous for her roast beef dinners accompanied by her homegrown vegetables. She made baskets and she knitted and could do anything she set her mind to.
Mrs. Hoysradt was the matriarch of her large family. “She taught us all so much but most importantly she taught us how to live with integrity, to live through adversity and how to love without limits. She loved all her family and friends but most of all she loved her husband Pat. They remained truly in love for their entire 74 year marriage. We are comforted knowing they have been reunited.”
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. The family requests that Mrs. Hoysradt be remembered as she was before her illness.
Survivors include: her two daughters, Judith Hatch of Stamford and Susan Hamburger of Clinton Corners; three sons, Russell of Newfoundland, Canada, David of Ancram and Daniel of Copake Lake; a brother, A.W. Jessup of Washington, D.C.; as well as 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Henry and Patrick; and a granddaughter, Amee VanTassell.
Calling hours are 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, October 31, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main Street, Pine Plains.
A Memorial Service will be held at noon, Saturday, October 31, at the funeral home with Deacon Jackie Jefferson officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Evergreen Cemetery.

Elise Koncelik (1929 – 2015)
ALBANY—Elise (Keeler) Koncelik, 86, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
She was born at home in Ghent, April 20, 1929. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia County, residing in Claverack. She graduated from Roeliff Jansen High School in Copake, Class of 1947. Mrs. Koncelik was an Avon Representative for 35 years and worked at the Claverack Package Store for 24 years.
Her husband of 56 years, John, predeceased her in 2005. She was also predeceased by her parents, Eunice and Edward Keeler; her brother, Elwood “Spike” Keeler and two sisters, Evelyn Schug and Esther Courter.
Surviving are: her son, Glenn Koncelik of West Coxsackie; her daughter, Theresa Delaney of Claverack; one granddaughter, April Delaney of Alden; two grandsons, Glenn Koncelik, II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and James Hansen of Greene County; two great-granddaughters, Amanda and Stephany; two great-grandsons, Michael and DJ.
Mrs. Koncelik’s interests were bowling (she was secretary of two leagues), stamp collecting and needlepoint. She had a love for Pomeranians and flower gardening. She was a life member of the Churchtown Fire Company, where she served as secretary for 15 years, and received the President’s Award in 2012.
Calling hours will be Sunday, November 1, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson. Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy E. Thomasino (1925 – 2015)
HUDSON—Dorothy E. Thomasino, 90, of Hudson passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 8, 1925 in Barrytown, to the late Herbert and Ella (Sounder) Schaffer.
She enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas, doing crossword puzzles, and smiling at her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: her daughter, Helen Garrison (Doug Chidester); two grandchildren, Michelle (Richard) Love and Gary (Robin) Garrison; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Trevor and Alexandra; her brother, Raymond Schaffer; her sister-in-law, Violet; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dominic Thomasino, and her siblings, Donald, Herbie and Jane.
Calling hours are Monday, November 2, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 3, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.

Richard H. Tomlin, Sr. (1938 – 2015)
CLAVERACK—Richard H. Tomlin, Sr., 77, of Claverack died Friday, October 30, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 12, 1938 in Livingston, he was the son of the late Michael and Nellie (Lyons) Tomlin.
Mr. Tomlin was an equipment operator for A. Colarusso & Sons.
Surviving are: four children, Terry Holmes, Melissa Tomlin, Richard H. Tomlin, Jr., and Michael Tomlin; four grandchildren, Thomas Holmes, Aaron Cowles, Brandon Brooks and Richard H. Tomlin, III, and his brother, Michael Tomlin.
A calling hour will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, November 2 at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson. Services will follow at noon at the funeral home.
