Edwin R. Strehler (1927 – 2015)
VALATIE—Edwin R. Strehler of Valatie passed away September 26, 2015 at his home.
He gave his soul and spirit to his savior, Jesus Christ and his beloved mother, Mary for eternity.
He leaves his beloved wife of 67 years, Lois (Hamm) Strehler; his beloved daughters, Lois M. Fornaro of Valatie and RoseAnne Lewis of Castleton; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, many loved nieces and nephews, who all wish him peace and love.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick W. and Anna Mae (Worman) Strehler; and his siblings, Lillian, Anna Mae, Blanche, Kathryn, Barbara, Molly and Frederick.
Mr. Strehler was U.S. Army veteran, who served in Saipan. Prior to entering the Army, he worked with his father as a carpenter. Before his retirement, Mr. Strehler worked at Fort Orange Paper Company in Castleton for 43 years as a master die maker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 29, 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Valatie. Burial will be follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery. A wake will be held prior to the Mass, Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.

David B. Richardson (1962 – 2015)
HUDSON—David B. Richardson, 52, of Hudson passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born November 3, 1962 in Hudson, he was the son of Jennie C. (Scirico) Richardson and the late William W. Richardson.
Mr. Richardson was employed as a welder with Dinosaw Inc. in Hudson for 14 years. He loved all types of music, gardening and his cat, Mike.
In addition to his mother, Jennie Richardson, he is survived by: his wife, Theresa (Snyder) Richardson; his brother, William D. Richardson; his sister, Paula Kilmer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, William W. Richardson, and his sister, Lana Richardson Coady.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Ann Kneiper (1920 – 2015)
VALATIE—Ann M. Kneiper, 95, of Valatie, formerly of Nassau, passed away at Barnwell Nursing Home, September 26, 2015.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nassau and a member of the St. Mary’s Rosary Alter Society. She was also a member of the Chandler-Young VFW Post 8162 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Kneiper will be most remembered in Southern Rensselaer County as Nassau’s Flower Lady. She and her late husband, Jim owned and operated Kneiper’s Flowers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Felixa Tinkle, Helen Richardson, Wesley Kissel, Raymond (Buddy) Kissel, Elizabeth (Babe) Barber and husband James Francis Kneiper, Jr.
She is survived by: her children, Rosanne McConnell, Linda Policella, James Francis Kneiper, III, and John Kneiper; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary’s Church in Nassau, Thursday October 1 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau, Wednesday, September 30 from 5 to to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nassau.
