William T. Saunders (1965 – 2015)
CLERMONT—William T. Saunders, 50, of Clermont, formerly of Red Hook, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 5, 2015 at his home.
Born June 20, 1965, in Kingston, he was the son of Helen (Klepatz) Saunders of Rhinebeck and the late William F. Saunders, Jr.
A graduate of Red Hook Central Schools, Mr. Saunders worked as an estate caretaker in Rhinebeck.
He was an avid NASCAR follower and an avid Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by: his sister, Sandra A. Saunders of Spring Hill, FL; an uncle, aunts, cousins, extended family, friends and his beloved cat, Little Man.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 South Broadway, Red Hook, Friday, November 13, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Rock City Cemetery, Rhinebeck.
Guy Pultz (1928 – 2015)
Mary Pultz (1926 – 2015)
HUDSON—Guy C. Pultz, 87, of Mellenville, died Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. His wife, Mary A. (Pozza) Pultz, 89, died November 6, 2015 after a graceful fight with cancer.
Mr. Pultz was an assembler at the GE plant in Pittsfield, MA, and Mrs. Pultz worked as a seamstress in Hudson and Philmont. She worshipped at Sacred Heart Parish in Philmont for many years. Married November 17, 1951, they were devoted to one another and to their son, Guy Nicholas Pultz of Sebec, Maine.
Mrs. Pultz was the best mother-in-law in the world to Guy’s wife, Pam.
Mr. and Mrs. Pultz “are already terribly missed, but we know they are together, reunited with the family and friends who went before.”
There are no funeral services planned. Burial of their ashes will be in Mellenville Union Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport.
Lynda J. Speed (1945 – 2015)
PHILMONT–Lynda J. Speed, born June 18, 1945, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Speed, Sr., and Lillian Conklin (Henry) of Mellenville.
She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Speed.
Ms. Speed is survived by: her brother, Clarence (Skip) Speed, Jr., (Winnie); three children, Ronald Hines (Shelly Proper), Timothy Hines (Julie Hutchens) and William Hines (Christina Sacco); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
