Beatrice Kahle Potts (1938 – 2017)

HUDSON—Beatrice Kahle Potts, 79, of Clermont died July 26, 2017 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Born August 30, 1938 in Germantown, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Petzel) Kahle.

Before her retirement she had worked as a nurse’s aide at the former Adventist Nursing Home of Livingston as well as packing apples for the Saulpaugh family of Livingston.

Survivors include: her husband, Gregory Potts; two daughters, Mary Gregory and Greta Tillman; a step-daughter, Elaine Jornov; her two sisters, Ethel Wagner and Alma Saulpaugh; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 29, noon to 1 p.m. at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Germantown. Funeral services follow at 1 p.m.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Luke’s Cemetery in Clermont.

Gladys M. Bopp (1933 -2017)

TROY—Gladys M. Bopp, 83, of Rensselaer died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at The Springs.

Born August 25, 1933 in Stockport, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Parchuck) Doviskie.

Mrs. Bopp was a receptionist at Barnwell Nursing Home for many years.

She is survived by: four children, John Bopp of Spieghletown, David Bopp of Florida, Kevin Bopp of Corinth and Theresa Lezette of Rhode Island; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Katlyn, Jake, Travis, Ryan and Ally; four great-grandchildren, Trenton, Ashanti, Lizzy and Darlene. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Bopp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 1, 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Route 9, Valatie, with the Reverend George Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.
