Gerald L. Page (1938 – 2020)
HUDSON—Gerald L. Page, 81, of Hudson passed away Tuesday February 11, 2020 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 29, 1938 in New Milford, CT, the son of Walter and Nina (Jennings) Page.
He was a graduate of Roeliff Jansen High School, class of 1956 and later served his country as a member of the United States Army in Korea.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a machinist with the L & B Corp. in Hudson.
Mr. Page had a great love of the outdoors and nature and was fond of tending to his animals, both domestic and wild. His greatest love was spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his wife, Jane (Patridge) Page of Hudson; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mark Drahushuk of Valatie; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherry Page of Valatie; two stepsons and their wives, Wayne and Corinne Stickles of Copake and Donald and Marianne Stickles of Hudson; a sister, Vivian Atwood of Arizona; his grandchildren, Daniel and Justin Drahushuk, Cassandra and Sarah Page, Christopher, Ariel and Allen Stickles along with five great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited and may visit Friday, February 14, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22 in Copake. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, February 15, 2020, 11 a.m. with the Reverend Kenneth Phesay officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.

Marjorie M. Davis (1935 – 2020)
ALBANY—Surrounded by her loving family at St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Marjorie Mabel (Bondarchuk) Davis, 84, of Columbiaville passed away peacefully into enteral rest February 11, 2020 after a long battle with dementia.
She was born March 26, 1935 in Copake. She was the daughter of Anastasia (Olski) Bondarchuk and Daniel Bondarchuk.
She grew up on the family farm in the Hillsdale area and attended the local public schools. Around 1950 her father sold the farm and bought the iconic bar/restaurant/hotel in Stottville known as the Highway Inn. There she met the good-looking Army officer Larry Davis and it was “love at first sight.” On February 14, 1953 she married Lawrence Frances Davis of Columbiaville, where they lived for many years before moving to Rossman.
Mrs. Davis worked all of her adult life assisting to provide for her family. She was proud to become a certified nursing assistant and worked full-time at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont until retirement in 1999. After retirement she enjoyed visiting friends, attending senior center events and playing the “scratch-offs.” She was a well-known figure at the Columbiaville Post Office and Cumberland Farms store. She would chat it up with all who entered.
She is survived by: daughters, Marjorie Anne (Davis) (Gary Horner) of Rossman and Robin Kathleen (Davis) (Mark Ham) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Gary R, Horner, Jr. (Terri) of King William, VA, Stacey M. Meissner (Frank) of East Nassau, Nicole L. Landry (Joseph) of Stockport, Kristin M. HornerStickles (Erin Daley) of Stuyvesant, Janis M. Lambrose (Steve) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Michael Ham of Chatham; great-grandchildren, Anya Horner, Lila Meissner, Abigail Meissner, Henry Meissner, Madison Landry, Corey Landry, Zachary Landry, Arianna Lambrose, Andrea Lambrose and Emily Ham; sisters, Betty Stringer of Valatie and Helen Jennings of Philmont and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; and sisters, Anastasia Bondarchuk (Gustave) Lauster, Jenny Bondarchuk (Edward) Block; and great-grandson, Alexander Lambrose. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Davis’ memory may be made to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of NY. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.
Earle P. Kelsey, Jr.
ALBANY—Earle P. Kelsey, Jr., 90, of North Chatham passed away after a short illness at the Teresian House, February 12, 2020.
A native of Latham, he was the son of Earle P. Kelsey, Sr., and Frances (Hanna) Kelsey.
He received his MBA from Siena College. He retired as the director of finance from Catholic Charities, and then was appointed comptroller for the Town of Chatham for 10 years. He was a member and fire commissioner of the North Chatham Volunteer Fire Department as well as treasurer for the North Chatham Methodist Church for 20 years.
Mr. Kelsey was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Margaret (Bainbridge) Kelsey, and his sisters, Betty (Arthur) Cox and Jane (William) Burke.
Fortunately for him, he found his “partner” Doris Appel and spent the next 35 years traveling and mutually enjoying the game of golf.
He is survived by: his son, Earle P. Kelsey, III, (Norine); daughter, Deborah Wimble (Brian); grandchildren, P. Christopher Kelsey (Erica), Mark R. Kelsey (Frank) and Ashley Wimble; great-grandchildren, Timothy and Hanna Kelsey; extended family, Linda (Dennis) King, Dawn (Jeff) Eberhard, Jill Appel, Joy Shermerhorn and their children and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020, 2 p.m. at the North Chatham Cemetery, Route 32, followed by a celebration of life, 3 p.m. at the North Chatham Methodist Church, 4274 Route 203, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Methodist Farm, 12 Bon Acre Way, Averill Park 12018 where he spent many happy summers or the North Chatham Fire Department, North Chatham 12132. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.
