Elizabeth M. O’Reilly (1921 – 2017)
HUDSON—Elizabeth Margaret O’Reilly, 96, of Philmont passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 28, 1921 in Scotland, to Francis and Mary McGuiness O’Loughlin.
A local resident since 1969, Mrs. O’Reilly previously worked for Catholic Charities in New York City. Upon moving to Philmont she served as the parish secretary for the former Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church under Reverend Charles Gaffigan. After the closure of Sacred Heart she became a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope in Copake Falls.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 1973 and a grandson, Kelly John O’Reilly.
Survivors include: her sons, E. Kevin O’Reilly of Poway, CA, Eugene O’Reilly of Philmont and Brian O’Reilly of South Carolina. She also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with a sister, Patricia Mahlmeister of Long Island and two brothers, Stephen O’Loughlin of Yorktown Heights and Thomas O’Loughlin of North Carolina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 23, 2017, 1 p.m. from Our Lady of Hope Parish with Reverend George Brennan officiating.
Friends are invited and may call also Monday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22 in Copake.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Philmont.

Reverend Herman F. Osterloh (1937 – 2017)
DELAND, FL—The Reverend Herman F. Osterloh, 80, of Deland, Florida, died Wednesday, October 18 at his home after a long illness.
He was born January 5, 1937 in Brooklyn, the son of the late Herman G. and Dorothea (Stegemeier) Osterloh.
Rev. Osterloh graduated from high school in Brooklyn in 1955, Wagner College on Staten Island in 1958 and the Lutheran Theological Seminary in 1962. He became the pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Viewmont in 1964 and pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Manorton in 1968. He retired in 1999.
He enjoyed his fishing, gardening and was an avid Mets fan. He had served as chaplain for the Clermont Fire Company for many years.
He resided in Florida for the past 18 years where he had been an associate member of the Lutheran Church of Providence in Deltona, Florida.
Survivors include: his wife of 52 years, Audrey (Banks) Osterloh; sister, Dorothea Dandridge of Tulsa, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Carol Banks of Clermont and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Germantown.
Services will be Thursday, October 26, 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church of Viewmont with burial following in the Viewmont Rural Cemetery.

Dolores Lippman (1933 – 2017)
TAMPA, FL—Dolores Lippman, 84, of Tampa, FL, a former Tivoli and Niverville resident, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her home.
Born January 5, 1933 in Tivoli, she was the daughter of the late Leland and Viola (Funk) Miller.
She was married to Sanford Lippman for more than 57 years. He predeceased her March 28, 2007.
For many years, Mrs. Lippman worked at Bard College as the housekeeper for the school President Leon Botstein. Previously she worked at the sewing factory in Tivoli.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gail (Francis) Cussick of Staatsburg and Deborah Marie (Joseph) Bonelli of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Chris Cussick, Michelle Cussick Kelsoe, Joseph Bonelli, Janine Mays, Thomas Derasmo and Michael O’Connor; her great-grandchildren, Tracie Lynn Cussick, Dylan Bonelli and Christopher Cussick; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 13 siblings.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 South Broadway, Red Hook, Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Red Church Cemetery, Tivoli.
