Memorial service announced
NEW LEBANON—A Celebration of Life memorial service for Arthur F. Koepp (January 15, 1918 – December 11, 2019) of Stephentown and Barbara Koepp-Liese (October 11, 1945 – January 30, 2020) of Lebanon Springs and Novi, MI, will be held April 19, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the New Lebanon Congregational Church on routes 20 and 22 in New Lebanon.
All are welcome to join the family in the church hall after the memorial service for snacks and refreshments. The family would appreciate it if anyone will bring additional finger foods and drinks to the service.
Edward W. Konow, Jr. (1934 – 2020)
CLAVERACK—Edward W. Konow, Jr., 85, of Claverack passed away March 12, 2020.
He was born July 30, 1934 in Queens, son of Edward Konow and Elsie Barteis Konow.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the Westwind during the Korean War. He was leader of Cub Scout Pack 121 in Claverack; served as a New York State trooper stationed in Claverack; was STOP DWI coordinator for Columbia County and worked at Twin County Recovery Services in Hudson. He was a loving husband, father and friend.
He is survived by: his wife of 60 years, Josephine; two sons, Tom and Chris (Kerry); nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Edward W. Konow, III.

Ronald A. Meyer (1930 – 2020)
VALATIE—Ronald “Max” A. Meyer, 81, of Valatie passed away at home March 13, 2020.
Born in Castleton April 20, 1930, he was the son of the late John C. Meyer and Edna Bushey. He worked for Sterling Winthrop, as a chemical operator for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by: his sister, Janet Ryan and brother-in-law, William Ryan. He is survived by: his wife, Eleanor Meyer; daughter, Cindy Meyer; sister, Sally Ryan; brothers, John (Peggy) Meyer, Kenny (Kathy) Meyer, Leon (Karen) Meyer; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to a graveside service, Wednesday, March 18, 12:30 p.m. in the North Chatham Cemetery, Route 32.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Meyer’s memory may be made to Valatie Rescue Squad or American Heart Association. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.
Kenneth J. Hollenbeck (1967 – 2020)
GREENPORT—Kenneth J. Hollenbeck, 52, of Greenport passed away March 9, 2020.
Born May 13, 1967 in Hudson, he was the son of Gloria and the late Joel Hollenbeck.
“Ken” graduated from Hudson High School, and worked as a program coordinator for the Mental Health Association of Columbia and Greene Counties. He was the Hudson High School boy’s varsity soccer coach for many years, and was an avid Manchester City soccer fan. He had a love for the outdoors, especially skiing and kayaking. He will be remembered for being a dedicated leader both at work and coaching.
Mr. Hollenbeck is survived by: his two daughters, Korin (David) Miller and Hailey Hollenbeck; two grandchildren, Miranda and Lincoln Miller; his mother, Gloria Hollenbeck; siblings, Jolene (Sam) Turrone, and Steve Hollenbeck; and the mother of his daughters, Jean Hollenbeck.
He was predeceased by his father, Joel G. Hollenbeck.
Visitation was March 13, 2020 at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.
