Joanne M. Holt (1942 – 2017)
HUDSON—Joanne M. Holt of Copake passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Columbia Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 17, 1942 in Catskill, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jeannette (Benino) Bonafide.
She graduated from St. Patrick’s Academy in 1960 and attended Mildred Elley Business School. She worked in the medical records department at the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Catskill and was the manager of Triple S Blue Stamps in Catskill.
On New Year’s Eve in Times Square, she met her “sailor boy,” the love of her life, Amon D. Holt. They were married January 22, 1975 and spent 30 precious years together until his death in 2005. Before they made their home in Copake, they were stationed in Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico and in Charleston, SC, where she frequently reminded us that she made sloppy joes for the USO.
She loved her cats, origami, music and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by: her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Deryll Miller; nieces, Melissa Miller and Jennifer (David) Mosher; her great-niece, Elora Mosher; many amazing cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A funeral service was held at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22, Copake, Saturday, December 23, 2017. Private internment will be at the convenience of the family.

Rayan Dalaudiere-Baoud (2013 – 2017)
KINDERHOOK—Rayan Noah Dalaudiere-Baoud, born November 12, 2013 at 14:45, passed away in a tragic car accident on Route 203 in Kinderhook, December 13, 2017.
He was laid to rest in the Town of Catskill cemetery.
Rayan is survived by: his loving mother, Laura Dalaudiere; father, Aissam Baoud; his favorite big sister, Amilia Dalaudiere-Baoud; and a very large and loving family.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Marguerite C. Smith (1929 – 2017)
NIVERVILLE—Marguerite C. “Rita” Smith, 88, of Niverville left this world under hospice care, surrounded by family December 22, 2017.
She was born July 20, 1929 in Athens, PA, the daughter of the late Carl and Lucy (Hartford) Beers. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Allen Smith and three siblings.
She was a graduate of Athens, PA, High School and got her diploma in airline communications from Midwestern in Kansas City, MO. She lived life to the fullest, enjoying managing restaurants, her work as a travel agent and traveling the world, bingo and spending time with “her kids.” She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Niverville.
She is survived by: her brother, Carl (Bub) Beers; her children, Gary Smith (Debbie), Dutch Smith (Mary), Carl Smith, Sue Conner and Lorrie DeLyser (Dave); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held December 29, 7 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie, with the Reverend Stark Jones officiating. Calling hours will be December 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Towanda, PA, at a later date.

Betty L. Jennings (1924 – 2017)
GERMANTOWN—Betty L. Jennings, 93, of Germantown died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her home after a long illness.
Born March 30, 1924 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Elva (Ham) Funk.
Mrs. Jennings attended the Reformed Church of Germantown and was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family.
She retired after more than 18 years working as an animal caretaker at Taconic Farms of Germantown.
Survivors include: her children, Allan (Gidget) Jennings of Rhinebeck, Donna Koppel (Michael Greenside) of Florida, Doris (Tom) Palazzo of NJ; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, William, who died July 28, 1985; her son, Larry Jennings; a brother, Cecil Funk and sister, Ethel Potts.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 27, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Germantown.
Services will be at the funeral home Thursday, December 28, 11 a.m. with burial following in the Reformed Church Cemetery in Germantown.
