Ruth H. L. Goold (1931 – 2016)
ALBANY—Ruth Helen (Larson) Goold of Valatie passed away June 20, 2016 among family at Albany Medical Center.
She was born in Albany, March 17, 1931 to Einar and Elsa (Falkman) Larson.
Mrs. Goold was a teacher’s aide for the Chatham Central School District, a member of the Tri-Village Auxiliary and a 4-H leader.
Her spare time was filled with family gatherings, aerobics, traveling and above all, countless fishing trips with her beloved husband; where the reading was great, the fishing was good and the catching was (hmm)…
She also enjoyed her animals, gardens, bowling, skiing and one armed bandits.
She is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Alan D. Goold and their beloved dog, Samantha of Chatham Center; her children, Ricky (Marilyn) Goold of Chatham Center, Debbie (David) Danforth of Milton, VT, Judy (Bernie) Kelleher of Valatie, Linda (Tom) Marks of Parker, CO, and Walter (Joan) Goold of North Chatham. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family received friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, the afternoon of Friday, June 24. A religious service followed at the funeral home.

Nazareth Evan Spencer (2016-2016)
HUDSON—Nazareth Evan Spencer was received in the arms of Jesus, June 17, 2016 leaving his footprints on all of our hearts.
He was the beloved son of Taran Nitsky and Hans Spencer of Hudson; beloved brother of Natailya, Niyah, Nadia and Nariah Spencer of Hudson; beloved grandson of Suanne and Edward Nitsky of Hudson, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Nazareth was greeted in Heaven by great-grandfather, Raymond “Poppie” Brown, and great-grandmothers, Shirley “GG” Brown and Pauline Nitsky.
Burial will be private with family only.
“We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Forever in our hearts.”

Susan L. Mueller (1951 – 2016)
HUDSON—Susan L. (Friss) Mueller, 65, passed away peacefully June 21, 2016 at Columbia Memorial Hospital after numerous years of battling illness.
Born in Hudson, she spent more than 49 years of her life married to her loving husband, Bill. Always active, outgoing, and hard-working, Mrs. Mueller made her livelihood for many years selling jewelry, clothing and shoes; spent part of her career as a properties manager and catered countless special events. She thoroughly enjoyed taking dance classes and performing with her vivacious “dance girls” for more than 25 years. A fierce lover of animals, Mrs. Mueller provided forever homes for more than a few very lucky rescue dogs. If she wasn’t working or dancing, you’d probably find her shopping, cooking or spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Mueller is survived by: her husband, William; son, William and his wife Christina; daughter, Sarah and her husband Travis; granddaughters, Randi, Lauren and Jenna; grandson, Tyler and great-granddaughter, Clementine.
Calling hours will be held June 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services directly following at Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

Lilibeth C. Baneni (1965 – 2016)
HUDSON—Lilibeth Cortez Baneni, 50, of Chatham passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born August 5, 1965, in San Pablo City, Philippines, she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and later married Daniel Baneni, who survives at home in Chatham.
She was an active member of the Unification Church in Barrytown.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her five children, Crystal Baneni, Martha Baneni, Daniel Baneni, Jr, Jason Baneni and Lee Baneni, all of Chatham; along with several siblings.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm.
The Seung Hwa Ceremony will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016, 11 a.m. at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 South Broadway, Red Hook. Interment and Won Jeon Ceremony will follow at Red Church Cemetery, Tivoli.
Greta L. Miller (1935 – 2016)
CLAVERACK—Greta L. Miller, 80, of Claverack and longtime area resident, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her home.
Born in Hudson October 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Adelbert and Georgianna (Haywood) McGuire.
Ms. Miller was predeceased by her sister, Anne Twaddle and brothers, Lewis and Philip McGuire.
She was the postmaster for the Mellenville Post Office and retired after 30 years in the Postal Service.
Ms. Miller was very active in her community and was a member of the Claverack Senior Citizens, Claverack Garden Club and former member of the Mellenville Union Cemetery Committee. In addition, she previously ran the Claverack Food Pantry and was a volunteer with the Columbia Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxillary.
Ms. Miller was incredibly generous to all who knew her as well as to complete strangers. She was always so young at heart and had a beautiful smile for everyone, not to mention a beautiful singing voice.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family including: sons, Glenn and (Doris) Miller of Claverack, Grant Miller and his wife Laurel Bohl of Guilderland; daughters, Gay Miller of Vero Beach, FL, Georgia and (Marvin) Bozarth of Yorktown, VA; one sister, Gay McGuire of Philmont; grandchildren, Devin Miller, Megin and (Jim) Ciaccia, Alex Bozarth, Randy Bozarth, Courtney Miller, Paige Miller and a great granddaughter, Emilee Ciaccia.
Visiting will be Friday July 1, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport. Memorial prayers will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Hodges officiating.
