Patrick N. Cariseo (1948 – 2020)
GREENPORT—Patrick Nicholas Cariseo, 72, a lifelong Hudson resident died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home in Greenport.
Born in Hudson May 24, 1948, he was the son of the late Sisto and Anna (Jacobs) Cariseo. After high school, he served with the U.S. Army Infantry during the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Cariseo was a laborer for Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph C. Cariseo and one sister, Maryann G. (Cariseo) Schaible.
He is survived by: his niece, Tania Orlowski Vega of Hoosick Falls; his brother-in-law, John G. Schaible of Hudson, and many cousins in Hudson area and Northeast.

Jeanette N. Fournier (1937 – 2020)
COPAKE—Jeanette Nault Fournier, a lifelong resident of Copake and Ancramdale, died in her home surrounded by her loved ones Monday, November 16 at the age of 83.
She was born July 1, 1937 in Hudson.
Mrs. Fournier was a loving mother of six children, one daughter, Priscilla predeceased her October 2019.
She was a grandmother of six and a great-grandmother of two, all of whom were the highlights of her life.
She was married to Roger Fournier for 65 years until his death in April 2020.
She worked hard all her life and loved her garden. The only thing better to her was planning and cooking for any celebration. She knew how to make everyone feel special.
She is survived by: her children and their spouses, Edward Fournier and Pamela Waite, Debbie and David Hall, Karen and Martin Clough, Donna and Sam Gorruso and Jacki and Chuck Hooker: her six grandchildren, Melissa Fournier who gave her two great-granddaughters, Aunahlyna and Gabriella, Michael McLoud, Eryn and Eric Clough, Sarah Jane and Will Hooker.
Private services were held November 18, 2020 at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home in Copake.
Interment was in Old St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Copake Falls.

Patricia McCauley (1950 – 2020)
VALATIE—Patricia McCauley, 70, of Valatie and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully November 26, 2020 with her family by her side.
Born August 18, 1950 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Winifred (Hare) Loring and the loving wife of John McCauley.
Before retiring, “Pat” was an administrative assistant for Ichabod Crane High School, Valatie.
She was a reader at St. Joseph’s Spirtual Life Center, Valatie; a member of the Valatie Food Pantry; Columbia Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Valatie Senior Citizens.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by: two children, Scott (Pamela) McCauley of Hillsborough, NJ, and Denise (Marc) Rosenrich of Wellington, FL; one brother, Thomas Loring of Valatie; one sister, Joan Salazar of Niverville; five grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Rosenrich and Ian, Nicholas and Amanda McCauley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday December 1, 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Valatie. Burial will be in the church’s cemetery. John Moroch (1939 – 2020)
HUDSON—John Moroch, 81, of Valatie passed away, Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born April 10, 1939 in Yonkers, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Suchenski) Moroch, Sr., and the husband of the late Joan “Jellybean” (Zarlenga) Moroch.
Before his retirement, Mr. Moroch was a pipe fitter/welder for Refined Sugars in Yonkers. He was a member of the Kinderhook Elks Lodge #2530 in Kinderhook.
He is survived by: his daughter, Laura Moroch of Beacon; his sister, Marion Weiss of Hyde Park and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen E. Calabrese 1952 – 2020
VALATIE—Kathleen E. Calabrese, 68, of Valatie passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at her home.
Born March 5, 1952 in Stanfordville, she was the daughter of the late Newton Boyce Kemp, Jr., and Evalena Mable (Thurst). She worked as a hairdresser for Grant’s Beauty Salon in Poughkeepsie and for many years at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Millbrook. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking cakes and was a very devoted wife and mother, a “Supermom.”
She is survived by: her husband, Alfred J. Calabrese; two children, Elena and Daniel Calabrese, both of Valatie; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Newton Boyce Kemp, Jr., and a sister, Arthena Jones.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020, 2 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.
