Louise C. Brusie (1936 – 2015)
MILLERTON—Louise Charlotte Brusie, 79, an 18-year resident of Boston Corners Road, Millerton, formerly of Copake, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her home in the presence of her loving family.
Born June 21, 1936 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Ilse (Opitz) Schafer.
On November 3, 1956 in Copake Falls, she married Orrin R. Brusie. Together they shared nearly 60 years of marriage. Mr. Brusie survives at home.
A wife and mother of three, a farmer and registered nurse, gardener, seamstress and homemaker, Mrs. Brusie will be fondly be remembered as being hugely happy in all of her endeavors. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lakeville, CT, for many years. She will be missed by all.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: three daughters, Ellen (Tim) McCauliffe of Parker, CO, Kimberly (Jeff Perotti) Brusie of Copake and Linda (Jeff) Pulver of Millerton; two sisters, Sally Berry and Mary Ann Robinson; five grandchildren, Justin, Scott, Valerie, Laura and Jenny; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Fox and Gunner; her sister-in-law, Maryann Schafer and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brusie was predeceased by her beloved brother, Herbert Schafer of Ancram.
Calling hours will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home, 37 Park Avenue, Millerton. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 29, 2015, 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 76 Sharon Road, Lakeville, CT. Robert Frederick Fix (1934 – 2015)
LIVINGSTON—Robert Frederick Fix, 81, of Livingston passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Fix is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Joan (Pratt) Fix; his children, Bob (Linda) Fix, Gary (Pam) Fix, Linda (Don) Conte, David (Mary Ann) Fix and Joanne (Mark) Marrish; his grandchildren, Kristen, Amy, Stephen (Ashley), Bradley, Lauren, Angela, David, Dustin, Darren, Nicole, Matthew, Samantha and great-grandson Cameron.
Mr. Fix was a third generation co-owner with his brother, Bill on Fix Brothers Fruit Farm.
His pride and joy was his family and his farm, which will be carried on by his sons and grandsons. He enjoyed his bulldozer, making ponds and clearing land to prepare for another orchard of delicious fruit.

Jon D. Tomlin (1948 – 2015)
HILLSDALE—Jon D. Tomlin, 66, of Hillsdale passed away suddenly Monday, August 17, 2015.
He was born September 8, 1948 in Hudson, a son of the late Michael and Nellie (Lyons) Tomlin.
An outdoorsmen, Mr. Tomlin enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Per his request, a private burial was held Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington, MA.
