Timothy C. Bolevice (1985 – 2019)
PHILMONT—Timothy C. Bolevice, 34, passed away at home December 6, 2019.
He was born at home in East Durham, November 30, 1985, the son of David and Sheri Bolevice.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his brothers, Mark and Andrew; his sister, Emily; two nieces and two nephews.
“Tim” was a kind, fun-loving guy who will be sadly missed by many.

Jean S. Roberts (1926 – 2019)
CLAVERACK—Jean S. Roberts, 93, of Claverack passed away peacefully December 2, 2019.
She was born September 28, 1926 in Claverack, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Rivers. She was a graduate of Roeliff Jansen High School, and remained involved with their alumni activities and reunions.
She enjoyed traveling, taking many trips and cruises with family and friends. She had a zest for life and was very active until very recently. Active with the Claverack Seniors, she also donated her time to the Second Show in Hudson.
She is survived by: her son and daughter-in-law, Randi and Marcia Roberts of Clifton Park; her grandchildren, Lauren Roberts of Clifton Park, and Erick and his wife Laura Roberts of Albany; her two nieces, Rebecca Russo and Robin (Jim) Lacy; her great-niece, Jill (Joe) Rubinaccio and great-nephew, Brian Russo.
Mrs. Roberts was predeceased by her husband, Richard Roberts in 1990; her brother, Edwin Rivers and sister, Mary Wheeler.
Her family thanks the staff and nurses of the Fourth Floor at Columbia Memorial Hospital and Pine Haven Nursing Home for the wonderful care and comfort they provided over the last weeks.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in the Reformed Dutch Church Cemetery of Claverack.

Louise Snow (1935 – 2019)
ALBANY—Louise Snow, 84, of Niverville died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Albany Medical Center.
Born February 25, 1935 in Wedgefield, SC, she was the daughter the late Robert and Janie (Benjamin) Kelly Jr.
She was a homemaker and a nursing assistant at Barnwell Nursing Home for 30 years.
She is survived by: one daughter, Ovella Snow of Rensselaer; two sons, Tracy Snow, Sr., of Niverville and Omar Snow (Lenore) of Guilderland; nine siblings, Marion Kelly of Sumter, SC, Clifton Kelly of Columbia, SC, Viola Sims of Jacksonville, FL, Leola Bracton of Sumter, SC, Leamae Dixon of Columbia, SC, James Kelly of Sumter, SC, William Kelly of Freehold, NJ, Albertus (CJ) Kelly of Columbia, SC, and Mary Boston of Sumter, SC; nine grandchildren, Tracy Jr., Ruth, Antoine, Jonathon Christopher, Cecilia, Geoffrey and Brendan Snow, Ramya and Uriah Headspeth; three great-grandchildren, La’myah, Liberty and Lyndiah Snow and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John T. Snow and a brother, Samuel Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 14, 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Route 9, Valatie. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Valatie.
Roger A. Decker (1945 – 2019)
HUDSON—Roger A. Decker, 74, of Craryville passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 27, 1945 in Great Barrington, MA, the youngest of the 12 children of Oswald and Mary (Lorette) Decker.
He graduated from Albany Business College and soon began his career in banking. He retired as assistant vice president of mortgage originations at Hudson River Bank and Trust Company. Over the course of his career, Mr. Decker took pride in assisting countless members of the community achieve their aspirations of home ownership.
He served for 11 years as a member of the Taconic Hills School District Board of Education, and held the offices of president and vice president. He also served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Columbia and Greene Counties, and on the Board of Education at Questar III (BOCES).
He was an avid sports enthusiast and had been very active with the Roe Jan Little League. A member of Copake Country Club, he enjoyed his many golf trips to Las Vegas, and venues around the country with great friends that he loved. Having announced Taconic Hills football games for years, many people will remember him as the “Voice of the Titans.” Her was well-known for his fun-loving demeanor, and his sincere, welcoming nature.
Mr. Decker and his wife, Sherry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary October 4.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Greg Decker and his wife Alison McNeilly of Breckenridge, CO; and Jarron Decker and his partner Gregory Marsh of Albany.
Memorial calling hours are Thursday, December 12, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22, Copake. Private interment will be at the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.

Virginia A.Z. Little (1950 – 2019)
ALBANY—Virginia Ann (Zelman) Little, 69, of Stockport, a lifelong area resident, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Albany St. Peters Hospice Inn.
Born May 11, 1950 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Zelman and Evelyn (Mazure) Zelman.
“Ginny” was a member of the Church of St. Joseph in Stuyvesant Falls. She was the chief court clerk and was assigned to the Hudson City Court for more than 25 years.
She will be greatly missed by: her loving son, Donnie Little and daughter-in-law Becca (Petrucci) Little of Middletown; her sister, Carol Jean (Zelman) Perlow and brother-in-law Ira J. Perlow of Waltham, MA; and her nephew, Michael J. Perlow.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Murray Little in 2005. David E. Ennis (1948 – 2019)
VALATIE—David Earl Ennis, 71, of Valatie returned to his heavenly home Monday, December 9, 2019 after a long illness and struggle with glioblastoma. His devotion to his family and firm belief in God helped him fight the disease with grace and dignity.
Born December 8, 1948 in Albany, he was the son of the late Earl B. and Cora (Bristo) Ennis.
He graduated from Union College in 1971 and Albany College of Pharmacy in 1975. He was the supervising pharmacist at Albany Memorial Hospital for 37 years, retiring in 2015. He served in the U.S. Army and was an elder and deacon at the Kinderhook Reformed Church. Mr. Ennis had love and passion for family, his church and God, his dog Sasha, his home, and travel and outdoor projects.
He is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Beth M.(Taylor) Ennis; two daughters, Kara Sidoti (Timothy) of East Greenbush and Kelly Babic (Bradley) of Delmar; two sisters, Deborah Pardi of Ballston Spa and Diane Haggerty of Castleton, VT; a brother, Dale Ennis of Castleton; two grandchildren, Taylor and Brynn Babic and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 16, 11 a.m. at the Kinderhook Reformed Church, Route 9, Kinderhook, with the Reverend Rudy Visser officiating. Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery. Joanne O’Leary (1949 – 2019)
NASSAU—Joanne O’Leary passed away peacefully December 3, 2019 at her home surrounded by her adoring family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She and husband, Michael starting cutting down trees in January 1980, and together they built a beautiful home in rural Rensselaer County. Generous and loyal, she could always be counted on for unwavering support and compassion, perceptive advice—and, of course, an amazing meal. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, the Great Saint’s corned beef feast for the O’Learys and Dwyers, backyard cookouts with tents and music, and especially Sunday meals with her children and grandchildren made her heart beat strong. “She loved to feed us.”
She was the center of gravity for her family, coordinating countless gatherings where she made everyone feel welcome in her home. She was thoughtful and observant, the world’s best gift giver. She (“Gigi”) absolutely lived for her grandchildren. She never came to visit them empty-handed: there was always a small surprise.
Born in Syracuse to Edith and Anthony Geiss, she completed her master’s degree in counseling psychology and worked for many years as a dedicated, hard-working and compassionate guidance counselor in East Greenbush. She loved her middle schoolers.
She is survived by: her husband, Michael of Nassau; three children, Scott and his wife Lisa of Valatie, Michael and his wife Sarah of Voorheesville and James of Cleveland, OH; her grandchildren, Wesley, Angelina, Lucas, Katherine and Quinn; her sister, Constance Fenton; nieces, Kim Ives Nicholson, Jennifer and Robin O’Leary; nephews, Christopher, Jonathan and Sean O’Leary and their wonderful families. They are living examples of her love.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nassau, December 7 with a memorial reception to following at Chez Mike, 596 Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush.
