Jeanne Boor (1932 – 2014)

ALBANY—Jeanne Boor, age 81, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 after a brief illness at Community Hospice in St. Peter’s.

Born October 3, 1932 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Hover) Warfield.

She was the loving wife of the late John P. Boor and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, reading, dancing, being outdoors and most of all being with her family. She could often be seen at the farmers’ market selling fruits and vegetables from the family farm.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul Boor and his wife Cindy of Valatie, John Boor and his wife Laura of Woodstock, VA; her daughter, Lori Kelton and her husband Richard of Bomoseen, VT; her grandchildren, James (Katrina), Michelle, Jennifer (Brian), Paul, Jason, Jon, Ryan and Sean; great-granddaughter, Caitlyn; her brothers, James, Curt and David (Margaret) Warfield; her sister-in-law, Suzanna Zapp; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at Yadack-Fox Funeral Home in Germantown, Saturday, June 14, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Boor’s memory to the Community Hospice online at www.communityhospice.org/donate or by mail to The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Rensselaer 12144.

Flora Potts’ graveside service set

GERMANTOWN—Graveside funeral services for Flora Ida Potts of Fayetteville, who died January 12, 2014 will be held June 28, 1 p.m. at the Reformed Church Cemetery in Germantown. The Reverend David Tipple of the Reformed Church of Germantown will officiate.

Joy A. Zanchelli (1960 – 2014)

LIVINGSTON—Joy A. Zanchelli, 53, of Germantown died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.

Born October 12, 1960 in Rhinebeck, she was the daughter of Shirley (Scism) Zanchelli of Germantown and the late Patsy Zanchelli.

Ms. Zanchelli was president of Patsy Zanchelli, Inc., of Germantown, a member of the Catskill Yacht Club and she enjoyed her many cats.

Survivors include: her mother, Shirley; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Louise Conklin of Germantown; four nieces, Sherry Conklin, Kristy Villarreal, Michelle and Angela Conklin; six great-nieces and nephews; her godson, Hayden; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 14 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home in Germantown. Interment followed in Valley View Cemetery, Germantown.

Memorial donations are requested in lieu of flowers to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson 12534.
