Ah-Nee Banker (1947 – 2013)
PITTSFIELD, MA—Ah-Nee “Cindy” Banker, 66, of Lebanon Springs passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in Taiwan July 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Lin Ting-Mao and Lin Chen Hsiu-Chin.
Mrs. Banker worked in tourism in Taipei, Taiwan before meeting her husband, Charles who was stationed in Taiwan while serving with the U.S. Army. They were married August 3, 1972 in Taiwan.
Returning with her husband to the United States, Mrs. Banker settled in Lebanon Springs and was a homemaker raising her family. She also was employed by several businesses in the New Lebanon area as a sous-chef and housekeeper. In 1977, she was naturalized as an American citizen.
She was a member of the Lebanon Valley Historical Society. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, origami, cooking and traveling.
She was the beloved wife of Charles D. Banker; loving mother of Margaret M. Banker (Chris Tripler) of Beverly, MA, Mary C. Banker (Sam Geddes) of London, England, Timothy L. Banker of Glastonbury, CT and Chenxian Lin of Taiwan; grandmother of Augustus Tripler and John Geddes. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters in Taiwan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother.
A celebration of her life was held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Shaker Meadows Bed and Breakfast, 14209 State Route 22, New Lebanon. She will be buried in the spring in the Cemetery of the Evergreens in New Lebanon.

Robin M. Denniston-Keller (1968 – 2013)
ROCHESTER—Robin M. Denniston-Keller, 44, of Byron, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Monroe County Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the co-owner of Den-Kel Jerseys, LLC in Byron.
Mrs. Denniston-Keller was born December 6, 1968 in Sharon, CT, the daughter of Roy T. Denniston of North Chatham and the late Deborah (Berry) Denniston.
She was a 1987 graduate of Ichabod Crane Central School in Kinderhook and earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1991.
She had a passion for working with dairy cattle, beginning with her high school job working at Dutch Hollow Farm. She was active in 4-H, served as an officer in both the ENY and State Junior Holstein Club, and was a distinguished junior member of the New York Holstein Association. Working with her husband, Kip, she developed an outstanding herd of registered Jersey cattle, selling several bulls to A.I. studs in the United States and Canada and received the Outstanding Young Breeder Award from the American Jersey Cattle Association.
Mrs. Denniston-Keller had many friends in the agricultural community. She was a 4-H Junior Holstein Club leader, and served as a state director for the Nioga Holstein Club, president of the Genesee County Farm Bureau, president of the New York State Jersey Cattle Club. Mrs. Denniston-Keller was elected a national director, representing New York for the American Jersey Cattle Association.
Through her life, she enjoyed showing cattle with her dad at the county, state and national levels.
She was the wife of Kip Keller of Byron. They were married August 13, 1994.
Surviving along with her husband and father are her father-in-law, Robert B. Keller of Chatham; brothers-in-law, Paul (Joann) Keller and Kent (Roberta) Keller both of Kinderhook; sisters-in-law, Kim Ehlers of Stuyvesant and Kristine (Timothy) Ooms of Chatham; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Denniston-Keller was preceded in death by her mother and her mother-in-law, Judith (Atkinson) Keller.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where Mrs. Denniston-Keller’s memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 p.m. A second service will be held Friday, December 20, 2013, 11 a.m. at the North Chatham United Methodist Church, 4274 State Route 203, North Chatham.

Ellsworth N. March (1926 – 2013)
ALBANY—Ellsworth N. March, 86, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born December 31, 1926 in Kinderhook, he was the son to the late Nelson and Bessie (Skinkle) March and the husband to Carol B. (Wilcox) March of Glenmont.
Before retiring, he worked as a weaver for Albany International and Albany Felt for 49 years. He was a member of the Kinderhook Elks Lodge #2530 and was Elk of the year in 1980.
Besides his wife Carol, he is survived by: four children, Darryl March of Niverville, Drew March of Stockport, Diedre March Wrigley of Valatie and Danielle Freeman of Missouri; a sister, Judy Powell of Cairo; seven grandchildren, Christine, Jennifer, Brian, Trevor, Billy, Timmy and Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Matthew.
Besides his parents he is also predeceased by a brother, Charles March.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kinderhook. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 10, 6 to 8 p.m. from the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
Burial will be at the Kinderhook Cemetery in Kinderhook. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church or the Kinderhook Elk’s Lodge #2530.
