Scott D. Novack (1986 – 2013)
GREENPORT—Scott D. Novack, 27, of Stockport died Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Greenport.
Born March 10, 1986 in Hudson, he was the beloved son of Kelly (Buckley) Novack of Hudson and the late Walter J. Novack, Jr.
Mr. Novack was a graduate of Ichabod Crane Schools. He was employed by Scali’s Restaurant and Robert Hull Towing. He was 13-year member of the Stockport Fire Department, was an avid outdoorsman and had a love for the river and riding his ATV.
He was a good friend to everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his mother, surviving are: his brother, Walter Novack of Kinderhook; his sister, Erin Novack Stern of Greene County; his grandparents, Tom and Sue Buckley of Greenport and Robert and Carol Starr of Columbiaville; two aunts, Debbie Novack and Darlene Korbel; one uncle, Thomas Buckley; six nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend, Chelsea Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, November 29 at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, Hudson. Burial will follow in Cedar Park Cemetery.
