Michael Edward Miller Jr., loved life on family dairy farm

ANCRAMDALE—Michael Edward Miller Jr., 25 of Ancramdale, died suddenly Saturday, December 12, iMichael Millern a snowmobile accident.

Born May 29, 1984 in Sharon, Conn., he was the son of Michael E. and Emily (Brown) Miller of Ancramdale.

Mr. Miller was a graduate of Stissing Mountain Jr.-Sr. High School in Pine Plains, where he served as president of the school’s Future Farmers of America program. He loved life on the family dairy farm, Millerhurst, and enjoyed tractor pulling. He was a member of the Eastern New York Holstein Club and the New York State and National Holstein Associations.

Surviving besides his parents are his daughter, Hope Emily Miller; his sister, Melissa Miller; and his girlfriend, Cindi Law, all of Ancramdale. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Harold and Kathy Miller of Ancramdale, his maternal grandmother Arline Brown of Cornwall, Orange County; and uncles and aunts James, Thomas and Joseph Miller, all of Ancramdale, Michael Brown of Mattemoras, Penn., Carol Chaoui of Wellesley, Mass., Cheryl Cassili of Walkill, Orange County, and Kathy Yorke of Sparrow Bush, Orange County; and many more extended family members.

His paternal grandfather, Michael J. Brown, and an uncle, Kevin Brown, died previously.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 11:30 a.m. from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main Street, Pine Plains.

Friends and family are invited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday, December 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
