Robert Wasson, Jr., 33, leaves two youngsters

HUDSON—Robert “Bobby” Wasson, Jr., 33, of Niverville went to be with the Lord, October 11, 2011.

Born in Norway, ME, December 9, 1977, he was the son of Robert “Bob” Wasson, Sr., and Janice (Cleveland) Wasson.

Besides his parents, he leaves behind the love of his life, Jennifer Judson and their two beautiful children, Madison, 8, and Liam, 2; his sisters, Jennifer Ciccarelli (Frank) and Angelique McGlauflin (Michael); nieces Courtney and Alyssa Ciccarelli and nephew, Gabriel McGlauflin. He is also survived by many friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 11 a.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, lnc., Route 9, Valatie with Bill Otterbeck officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie.

Friends may call Friday, October 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the name of either Madison or Liam Wasson, c/o Kinderhook Bank, 2967 Route 9, 2967 Route 9, Valatie 12184.

Thomas Zacarolli, 89, excavator, gardener

LIVINGSTON—Thomas Zacarolli, 89, of Livingston, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 21, 1922 in Mount Vernon, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Maria (Polese) Zacarolli.

Mr. Zacarolli was the owner/operator of B & T Excavation in Livingston.  He was a former councilman on the Livingston Town Board, a former building inspector for the Town of Livingston and a member of the Livingston Cemetery Board. He enjoyed gardening and mowing his lawn. His big vegetable garden and beautiful lawn were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianna (Gleason) Zacarolli of Livingston; his devoted daughters, Carol (Dennis Callahan) J. Patterson of Taghkanic and Ellen Zacarolli of Manhattan; four step-children, Debora (Robert) Busch of Claverack, Dean (Debbie Van Dyke) Sweet of Hudson, Renee (Rob Dunn) LaPorto of Claverack and George (Bonnie Worth) Taylor Jr. of Claverack; and three brothers, Rocco (Maryann) Zacarolli of Pleasantville, Guy (Judy) Zacarolli of Hillsdale and Joseph Zacarolli of Connecticut.  Also surviving are his loving grandchildren, Danielle Hotaling, Brandon Thomas Patterson, Jillian and Allison Busch, Dustin Sweet, Bryant and Britton LaPorto and Samantha Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Irelynn and Ashton Hotaling and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Frances Zacarolli; his brother, Frank Zacarolli; and two sisters, Virginia Itri and Jenny Gleeson.

Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, October 16 and 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 17 at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, Hudson.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Livingston Cemetery. The time will be posted in the obituary online at www.batesanderson.com.
