Tommy Hunt, Jr., 72, bus driver, church member

LIVINGSTON—Tommy “Sam” Hunt, Jr., 72, of Hudson, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Livingston after his boat capsized in a pond.

Born April 23, 1939 in Colquitt, GA, he was the son of Tommy Hunt, Sr. of Georgia and the late Doris (Richardson) Hunt.

Mr. Hunt was a bus driver for the Metro North Railroad in Croton Harmon. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Hudson.

In addition to his father, surviving are: his son, Jarrett Coleman of Albany; three daughters, Cheryl Coleman of FL, Judy Hunt of Atlanta, GA, and Wanda Hunt of FL; two brothers, David and Alvin Hunt, both of Georgia; one sister, Diane Hunt of Georgia; his friend and companion, Lucy Spann of Hudson, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and step-sons.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 14 Warren Street, Hudson.

Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.

Helen Klucserits, 74, housekeeper at hospital

ALBANY—Helen K. Klucserits, 74, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Albany Medical Center.

Born February 25, 1937 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Kathryn (Hallenbeck) Holt.

Mrs. Klucserits worked at Columbia Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department for more than 10 years. She was a member of Christ Church and the prayer line and healing services group. She was a lifelong resident of Hudson.

She was the beloved mother of David Klucserits of Fort Lauderdale, James (Nancy) Klucserits of Waterford and Lynn and Debra Klucserits, both of Hudson; devoted grandmother of Jamie Klucserits of Watervliet and Jason (Heather) Bryer of Albany; loving sister of Robert (Eileen) Holt of Catskill, Frances Brady of Hudson and Evelyn Doyle of Catskill, and special great-grandmother of Romello Klucserits of Watervliet and Gabriel and Miles Bryer, both of Albany. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Klucserits in 1983, and her brother, Vernon Holt.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22 at Christ Church Episcopal.
