CONYERS, GA—Donna Hutchinson VanderHorst, 68, of Conyers, GA, passed away peacefully Tuesday January 18, 2011.
A native of Niskayuna, Mrs. VanderHorst was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Georgia, a professional cake decorator for many years and a loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her loving and very devoted husband of 47 years, William L. VanderHorst of Conyers, GA; daughters, Wendy E. Brooke of Roswell, GA, Amy (Matthew) Wade of Monticello, GA; a son, William Brett (Dianne) VanderHorst of Wiley, GA; grandchildren, Zackery (Kim) VanderHorst of Wiley, Jeremiah VanderHorst of Athens, William Wade of Monticello; Emmilyn Walle of Monticello; great-grandson, Nathaniel VanderHorst; brother, Douglas (Pat) Hutchinson of Kenley, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dolores Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2:30 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie, with the Rev. Stark Jones officiating.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Valatie.
